The MC35iT GPRS Starter Pack allows those who want to trial GPRS in PC or embedded applications to do so quickly and economically. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) adds 'always on' functionality to the existing TC35i Terminal, making the new MC35iT.

The MC35iT Starter Pack provides everything needed to get started, even down to the serial cable & antenna to evaluate GPRS 'out-of-the-box'. The MC35i is offered in the form of a plug-and-play terminal for simple integration in systems. The Starter Pack also includes CD Rom with manuals and software.

The module version of the MC35iT measures just 54.5 x 36 x 3.6mm and weighs only 9 grams. Offering GPRS with data rates of up to 85.6Kbps (GPRS Multislot Class 8 downlink from the base station), the MC35i also supports conventional fax and data communication at up to 14.4 Kbps, SMS messaging and reception of cell broadcast services, as well as voice communication.
